The AmeriCorps Victim Assistance Program (AVAP)
The AmeriCorps Victim Assistance Program is made up of full and part-time domestic and sexual violence AmeriCorps member advocates. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, demonstrate a commitment to community service and have an interest in the areas of domestic and sexual violence and stalking. No prior experience or degree required. Benefits include a weekly living stipend and an educational award. We encourage women and men of diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply.

Volunteer Opportunities
From helping with administrative tasks, to offering up your elbow grease (painting, cleaning, recycling, gardening) to helping with fundraisers or outreach events or campaigns, the Coalition has a variety of options for volunteers we would welcome your help. If you have specialized skills (such as foreign language or sign language fluency) and would like to volunteer your expertise, feel free to call us. We do not provide direct services at our office.
