about granite state respect week:

Granite State RESPECT Week is a teen-centered campaign that takes place in high schools across New Hampshire during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month.

The structure of this campaign is similar to a high school spirit week in that each day is built around a theme that speaks to an aspect of teen dating violence awareness. GSRW is based on an initiative originally developed by loveisrespect.org aimed at engaging, educating and empowering young people. The Coalition and its 12 member programs have adopted this initiative and tailored it to meet the unique needs of New Hampshire schools.
 
With the support of the Coalition and local crisis center educators, it is our hope that New Hampshire high schools will work to promote healthy relationships and foster communities of respect all year long. GSRW was designed to empower schools and students to customize the RESPECT Week project to reflect the needs and capacities of their schools and communities.

It is our hope that with the support of the Coalition and local crisis center educators, New Hampshire high schools will adopt this initiative to promote healthy relationships and foster communities of respect in schools across NH. GSRW was designed to empower schools and students to customize this project to reflect the needs and capacity of their school and community. There are no minimum or maximum requirements for school participation.​

GRANITE STATE RESPECT WEEK 2024

February 12th - 16th

Any high school, middle school, or program serving youth ages 12-18 in New Hampshire can participate in Granite State Respect Week. We hope you will join us this year in empowering teens to build healthy relationships and fostering safe and respectful learning environments across the state!
