Granite State RESPECT Week (GSRW) is a teen-centered campaign that takes place in high schools across New Hampshire during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. GSRW 2018 was made possible by HopeLine by Verizon and the TJX Foundation.
The structure of this campaign is similar to a high school spirit week in that each day has a unique theme that ties into the greater message of teen dating violence awareness. GSRW is based off of an initiative that was originally developed by loveisrespect.org in an effort to engage, educate and empower young people during Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. The Coalition and its 13 member programs have adopted this initiative and tailored it to meet the needs of New Hampshire schools. |
Goals:
1) Raise awareness about teen dating violence. Impact:During the second year of this campaign, 40 schools across the state of NH participated in the Granite State RESPECT Week 2018 campaign and over 28,000 students were reached. |
