Dr. Blasey Ford has come forward to share her story, despite huge personal and professional cost, and despite the terror of exposing herself and her family. She’s testified to the Committee that the reality of coming forward has been even worse than anything she could’ve imagined. She and her family have endured slander, death threats, gross invasion of privacy—and having to move her family out of their home in order to stay safe. Dr. Blasey Ford has nothing to gain from sharing her story; indeed, she has everything to lose.
